Did you know that "sensical" is not a word?

I spent years trying to come up with a name for my business. This was the one thing holding me back from making my own website and starting my freelance writing gig.
I have a couple of missions in life, and one of them is to help the public better understand science. The unfortunate truth is that only a few, “exciting” stories make it to the surface of lay journals and news outlets. Additionally, depending on the source, I feel that these stories often contain overstated conclusions or, at the very least, are a little over-hyped.

With this is mind, I still want everyone to get excited about science. But I want them to understand its limitations. I feel that this portion of the science is largely left out of journalism. Where else can non-scientists go to read about science?

While scientific articles are rightfully filled with jargon, I think we can do a better job of communicating our findings in ways that non-scientists can understand. This can take shape in either simplifying our manuscripts or in public outreach. I intend to contribute to both ventures.

What one word is there to describe something that makes sense? I find it funny that “nonsensical” is a word but "sensical" is not. So, I think it should be a word. And I think it aptly describes my initiative to make sense of science to all interested parties.

Whether you agree with me or not about the status of “sensical” in the dictionary, you can be sure that I put a lot of thought into the words I choose and the way I construct sentences. I am passionate about writing, and I love learning new things. I hope to gain the opportunity to work with you on your research.

Yes, you're right about sensical. It isn't a word, but it would solve an issue to have that "all-in-one" term for [of making sense]. The more I think, there ARE terms you can use, but they only apply for certain instances, regarding context of course. (ie. Plausible, logical, etc). But, I'd like to say, I think your name is perfect. Sensical science, describes science in a perfect way... Especially due to it's background(?) as an "unofficial, unlicensed" word. BTW, I'm not an English major or anything, so don't slaughter me, just my two sense.
